IOSTC GOES TO COLLEGE

IOSTC and Capilano College
Capilano College
and Interactive Oil Spill Training Center Inc.
(“IOSTC”) are cooperating to develop tools, courses and programs that will support West Coast of Canada and international training and education needs for oil spill management and response on a sustaining basis. In addition, Capilano College and IOSTC plan to form sister college arrangements with other Canadian and International educational institutions.

Basics of Oil Spill Training Course
Our joint program. Oil Spill Management, with Capilano College has
delivered its first training course 'Basics of Oil Spill Response' in
February 2005. We combined the Canadian Coast Guard "BOSRC"
training course with the IMO Level 1 training course into one program.
The course was delivered by certified instructors, it also integrated
E-Learning, Classroom and field training. Participants were from
industries, government agencies, and First Nations and international
participants.

IOSTC launches its E-Learning website
After two year of introducing our 'Basics of Oil Spill Response'
interactive CD-ROM based training program; which is currently being used
by major industries and government agencies.
IOSTC
is pleased to announce that we have launched our E-Learning website.
Now you can access our training programs via the Internet for hourly fee.

September Course - Train-the-Trainer
IOSTC and Capilano College joint Oil Spill Management
Program
("OSM") will offer its
second training course. This course is two weeks, the first week
focuses on Onshore Oil Spill Response, Oil Spill Contingency Plans, and
Media Relations. The second week will focus is a Train-the-Trainer
